Santander is the capital of the region of Cantabria and one of the most important cities from the north of Spain. It has a big networkd infrastructure which makes it a city that is easily accessible by plane, by boat and by road.

By car
It has an excellent network of roads, especially with the Cantabrian Highway A-8 (Bilbao, Oviedo) and the A-67 Cantabria-Meseta highway.

BY BUS
National and international connection by bus. The station is located in the city center.

BY TRAIN
Santander is connected by train through the RENFE medium and long distance lines that connect Santander with Palencia, Valladolid, Madrid and Alicante. The station is located in the center of the city.


BY BOAT
The city has a bigmaritime traffic. Brittany Ferries offer weekly connections to Plymouth and Portsmouth.
