El Palacio de los Deportes in Santander hosted today great matches in which the world’s top junior athletes played their best game.
They have been giving their all on every point to achieve the best result for their country. And due to that commitment, we are finally discovering the final ranking positions in more detail.
Some very interesting ties today were, for example, the Canada-Malaysia match, in which the Asians suffered a lot against the Canadian players who showed a very high level. Big applause also for Tahiti who beat Iceland by a tight 3-2. Peru and Hungary also put up a great fight, with victory for the Latinos, demonstrating the good work that is also being done on the other side of the Atlantic. Something that Spain was also able to prove when they lost against the USA, who despite the battle presented by the national team, ended up winning.
In the star matches, the nations of Korea and China Taipei overcame their rivals to reach the grand final that will take place tomorrow at the Ballena de Santander at 13:00h.
The rest of the positions will be defined from 08:30h.
