The Santander 2022 Junior World Championships are organized thanks to the support of the Santander City Council (through its Department of Sports), the Government of Cantabria (through the General Directorate of Sports and the General Directorate of Tourism), and the Superior Sports Council. The Spanish Badminton Federation and the Cantabrian Badminton Federation are the main organizers with the Badminton World Federation (BWF).
The BWF World Junior Championships plays from October 17 to 30. The first is for the team competition and the second, for the individual one. On Sunday, October 23, between one competition and another, will be held a cultural day with different activities for all the players.
The event will involve to more than 1.500 people: There will be more than 600 players, with another 600 accompanist and around 200 members of the organization.
