There has not only been badminton in Santander these days. To complete the experience of this two-week event with the best young players in the world, the Cultural Day was held on Sunday.
An event in which these future promises of the sport can learn and see first-hand the typical food, local sports or customs of the host country.
On this occasion, in Santander, the proposal has consisted of showing the Cantabrian bolo palma, typical dances, a football match and a wonderful meal with a monumental paella.
A day that delighted the participants and the members of the organisation, who were able to change the indoors for the outdoors for a day. The event was presided over by Mr. Fellipe Perez, sports Councillor of Santander City Council, Mr. Andoni Azurmendi, President of the spanish badminton federation, Mrs. Maria Luisa Perez de la Torre, president of the cantabrian badminton federation and as a part of the spanish badminton federation, Mr. David Serrano y Mr. Mario Carulla.
